THE CHALLENGE

Indiana University challenged Four Point Design to create a multi functional student lounge with space for collaboration, independent study and social interactions. The space needed to spark creativity while reflecting the Indiana University brand.

OUR SOLUTION

The design includes a variety of seating and study options each incorporating technology. Booths provide the ability to connect to wall mounted monitors. Desktop computers are available for use on computer tables. Powered banquette seating and lounge groupings integrate convenience power receptacles for laptops and cell phones. Mobile and stationary marker boards promote collaboration and creativity.

THE RESULT

The dynamic, vibrant space is a destination in the building that is sought out by students. Within the space, students appreciate the choices available to socialize, collaborate, and study. The energy the space evokes is apparent in the student’s positive feedback.
